September Favorites 2014

Hey lovelies! Hope everyone is doing great. I haven't done one of these in awhile ! I am so happy it is fall! As many of you know Fall is one of my favorite seasons! The changing of leaves, hot chocolate,  and sweaters. I love it! I wanted to share my favorites for the month of September. It is not many because I was moving and my daughter started kindergarten, so I have been super busy. My makeup has been very minimal lately because I am a mom of three loll There is just so little time.  I am pretty sure mommies out there can relate lol. Anyway, let's jump into my September favorites shall we?

Bath and BodyWorks Pumpkin Apple Candle Yes! With Fall comes Pumpkin scented sweet smelling candles! I love to fill my home with sweet scents of pumpkin, cinnamon and apple scents and sweet scents. This is my first time trying this scent and I love it! Perfect blend of apples and pumpkin. The scent do no over power one another and you can smell both the apple and pumpkin. It's great. If you do not own this get it. lol

Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in Cosmopolitan and Bitten. You know with Fall comes the warm neutral toned, gold copper and burgundy eye makeup. I have been loving wearing very warm toned makeup look lately.  Since my makeup has been minimal, sometimes I just use these two together or I just use Makeup Geek's Cosmopolitan on the lid and blend it out up to the crease area. I apply mascara and eyeliner on the lower water line and I am done. Makeup Geek's eyeshadow in the color Bitten has replaced my brown eyeshadow that I usually wear in my crease. I often use golds with bitten on the crease with another transition color to blend out the color bitten and soften up the look. 

Since I am olive toned, warm toned blushes such a peach or a peachy pink look great. I chose the Tart Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful which is a beautiful pink peachy color. It really compliments my skin color and adds a nice and subtle wash of color on my cheeks.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Rose Velvet. Ahh yes more rose toned neutral lipsticks lol. This   color is a bit washed out because of the lighting,  but I assure you it is pretty! It is a pinky brown color that can be worn with every eye look.

Loreal Paris Color Riche Glossy Balm in Vintage Rose . I have been wearing  this color a lot in the month of September. It gives the lips a nice wash of rose color. Some days I just pop this on and that is it.  

                      

 

 Sibu Beauty's Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser.I have done a review which you can find  here on this little gem, which I am almost out of. It is a great facial cleanser . To me this is a two in one cleaner and exfoliator for your face and  I love it. I have been using this and no other acne cleanser  for the month of September.

Vera Wang Perfume Princess. I  have had this perfume for a few years. Lately, I have been reaching for this. This is nice to wear around this time of year. I am not good at describing scents, but it smell nice! :)

Another color perfect for fall is plum and magenta. This is my hijab that I have been wearing a lot. I love the magenta and plum colors mixing together . The tassels on the ends is pretty. I love it and it is lightweight yet keeps me warm. The hijab is by hijabista if my fellow muslimah readers want to know :) This can be worn as a neck scarf too.  :)

Land O Lakes Mint and Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix. One of the reasons I love fall and winter months is hot chocolate!!! lol I can drink hot chocolate every day! Even in the summer lol. The mint adds a nice taste. I have to go back and get some more because they are all gone :(

September Favorites 2013

As salaamu alaykum and hello lovelies.This is my first monthly favorites post. Yay! lol. I know I am late since its already October,but better late than never :) Surprisingly some of my September favorites are not makeup. lol I really enjoy reading these posts and I hope you enjoy mine. Let's get to it.

WetnWild in Bare It All has been my go to nude lipstick for the month of September. It is the perfect nude shade for me. If you don't have this lipstick you need to get it lol. The best part is that it's affordable and the pigmentation of this lipstick is excellent. I think this lipstick is better than some of the high end lipstick nudes.

Nyx Glitter Liquid Liner in gold is so pretty. It really compliments your eye makeup and adds character to it . I have used it in one of my makeup tutorials which you can see here.

I have used this mascara in my makeup tutorials last month. It really makes your lashes look like falsies.I few coats and Bam! You have va va voom lashes lol. It's great.

The Nyx Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil In Milk. This makes a terrific base that makes your eyeshadow colors pop. I have used it all last month for my eye makeup tutorials. It is a must have for your makeup collection.

Lumene Waterproof Makeup  Remover is really great and gets the job done.Takes off eye makeup  as well as lipstick effortlessly. Once this finishes, I am going to purchase it again. You can read my review here.

Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado and Oatmeal- I rediscovered this last month after neglecting it.  Happy to have found it again. I love how this makes my face feel afterwards. You can read my review on this facial mask here.

Wild Berry Tulips Spray and Lotion by Bath and Body Works- I had purchased this in the Summer. I love how this smells. It smells of berries, but not over powering. Like a berry perfumey smell. After it fades and has a soft scent. It is lovely.

Glade Apple Cinnamon- During the Fall season I loooove to burn this scent.I love the smells of apples and cinnamon. It makes the house smell lovely and makes it feel homey in the sense that I remember smelling these scents when I was a kid. I also like pumpkin scents as well as sweet scents that smells like cake or cinnamon roll is baking in the oven. 

Glade Spray Salted Caramel- smells to me like caramel candy. My hubby doesn't like it loll. At first I didn't like it either, but it grew on me. After the spray settles it end up smelling like something sweet was baking. I like it.

Flipz Milk Chocolate Pretzels has been my snack obsession last month. It is the perfect balance of sweet and salty goodness. I have to admit while I took this photo I was snacking on them loll. If you haven't tried these then you must. You will love it.
