My Little Pony: Rainbow Dash Inspired Makeup Ft. SugarPill + Coastal Scents

Hey guys! Hope everyone is well. I am really excited about this blog post because I haven't done a makeup look on my blog in a longtime. I had so much fun creating this look and I was inspired by one of my daughter's favorite cartoon called "My Little Pony". If you are a mom, have nieces or baby sisters, then you know how popular this cartoon is. I stumbled upon her my little pony coloring book  and thought this would be fun to create a makeup look from one of the my little pony characters. I asked her which one would you like me to do a makeup up look on and she chose rainbow dash. I was hoping she would choose that one. :) I used colors from rainbow dash's character and incorporated into this makeup look. It is fun and colorful sure to brighten up the long winter days. Hope you enjoy the tutorial/pictorial!

Pictorial

I used the Sugar pill eyeshadow palettes and coastal scents 88 matte palette to create this look. You can use any eye shadow palettes or eyeshadows with the same colors to achieve this look. These are steps in pictures... Scroll down to the tutorial to get step by step instructions.. Enjoy!

Tutorial

*Apply eye primer all over the lid up to the brow bone. For colorful makeup looks I always add a white base to make the eyeshadows  appear more vibrate. *
1. Next I mixed the two light blue eyeshadows and applied it to the more than
first half of the lid.
2. I took the darker purple shade(any purple color will do) and applied it the last half of the lid. Gently blend the two colors together so there won't be a harsh line.
3. Dip the brush in any vibrant yellow you have and apply it all over the crease up to where the brow bone begins. Blend!
4. Take an orange eyeshadow and apply in to the mid crease. Blend!
5. I then applied the red eyeshadow to the out corner and brought it up into the crease.Blend!
6. Apply a white eyeshadow to the brow bone. Blend!
7. Use your favorite black mascara or you can use a colorful one and apply it to your lashes. I alway apply a few coats.
8. I used a Nyx light green jumbo pencil and applied it to my lower lash as a base.
9. Next take a light green eyeshadow and apply over the green base. To darken the green a little, I just took a darker green shade and applied it on top of the light green eyeshadow.
10. On my inner tear duct, I applied a white base and took a yellow eyeshadow and applied it on top to make it more vibrant.
11. Add black eyeliner to your water line and you are done!

 Finished Looks

I had so much fun creating this look and my daughter loved it! It feels so good to create makeup looks and tutorials for you guys again. I hope you enjoyed this look and see you in my next blog post!

SugarPill Eyeshadow Palettes Review,Photos, and Swatches

Hey lovelies hope everyone is well. :) I am excited to bring you a review on the SugarPill Palettes in Heart Breaker, Sweetheart and Burning Heart. I purchased these during the black friday sale. I waited a long time for a sale like that one and  I quickly purchased these palettes. I believe the palettes were 25 % off each during the black friday sale.Let's jump right into the review.

The Sugarpill Palettes retail for $34.00 dollars each. Each palette contains four highly colorful pigmented eyeshadows. (Net wt. 3.5 grams.)

Pros:
Highly pigmented
Easy to blend
Packaging

Cons:
None

Photos and Swatches:

Acidberry- Hot lime green.
Velocity-Cobalt blue
2am-Grape purple.
Mochi-Mint green.

Dollipop- Fuchsia Pink
Afterparty-  Deep Blue sky color :)
Midori- Grassy green.
Taka- White

Flamepoint-Intense orange.
Butter Cupcake- Canary Yellow (I love love love this color!)
Love +- Red
Poison plum- A plum toned purple.

Conclusion:

I am absolutely in love with all three  of the SugarPill palettes. The pigmentation of these colors are insane. For the swatches, I didn't use any primer or eyeshadow base that is how pigmented these colors are. The texture is smooth and for matte eyeshadows they are not chalky at all. They also blend beautifully together. I have nothing negative to say about these palettes. The packaging is beautiful and thin making is easy to carry with you when you travel. My only regret about this product is that I didn't buy it sooner. I have tried many brands of colorful eyeshadows and this one so far has the best color payoff. My favorite palette out of the three SugarPill Palettes would have to be Heartbreaker. I think these colors are really nice and unique. I really love wearing colorful eyeshadows and I will be putting these palettes to good use. If you love to wear color on your eyelids, then I highly recommend these awesome palettes.

Hope you enjoyed my review on the SugarPill Palettes. See you in my next blog post lovelies!

Sugarpill Chromaslust Eyeshadow Pigments(Goldilux,Hysteric,Darling)

Sugarpill Chromalust Eyeshadow Pigments(Goldilux,Hysteric,Darling) ($12.00 ea. 4.5 grams)

As you can see I have three of the 18 Eyeshadow pigments in Goldilux,Hysteric, and Darling. My favorite one out of the three is definitely Goldilux. These  Loose Eyeshadow pigments have great color payoff. For any person who loves eyeshadow pigments, you will definitely fall in love with these. The Loose Eyshadow Pigments  are finely milled and easy to apply and blend. Here is a description of each color along with photos. :)

Without base

Withbase

      Goldilux: Sparkly Gold color.

Hysteric: Midtone Purple with specks of Blue glitter.

Darling:Sea bluish Green color with specks of Blue glitter.

Over all, I think these Loose Eyeshadows are worth the price and will last you for a very long time. You can apply these eyeshadows wet or with a base. The color payoff is excellent and very blendable.  The texture of these pigments are very soft like the texture of baby powder. These pigments are very finely milled.I highly recommend these Eyeshadow pigments and I love the quality of these pigments. I will be purchasing more from Sugar pill cosmetics very soon.

I rate this product 10/10. I loved it that much.
