Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette Photos, Swatches +Review

Hello my dear readers! I am sure you have seen many blog posts and reviews on the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette. It is one of the hottest holiday palettes out right now. I love the fact that the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette is more on the colorful side. It is a nice break from the naked palettes and I knew Urban Decay had the potential to come out with yet another amazing colorful palette. Scroll down for  photos, swatches and my thoughts on the Vice 3 Palette.

Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette retails at $60(0.6 oz).  It comes with all new 20 velvety colorful shadows as well as some neutral ones.  Most shades are metallic with a few matte and satin shades. The eyeshadows are arranged in rows starting from top to bottom. You can coordinate a look that way or mix it up. The Urban Decay Vice 3 also comes with a a dual ended brush and nice colorful case to store it in.

Pros:
Slim Case
Pigmentation
Variety of colors
Versatile

Cons:
Price

 Photos

I like how it shows the colors in the back, so you know what your are buying and if you like these sort of colors or not.

I really love the packaging. I think they did a great job. I love the silver with the color steaks in the middle and the bright green letters.

This palette has a nice size mirror and does not flop down.

A close up of all the pretty colors.

The color are arranged in rows starting from the top down. You have your neutrals in the first, your jewels tones in the next three rows and your smokey shades in the last. You can also use the colors in quads aswell. I love how they paired them this way so you can have an easy time creating a look, or you can be adventurous and mix the colors to create a unique makeup look.

The palette also comes with a double ended brush.

I like that it comes with the case for storing the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette or it can be used as a cosmetic pouch.

Swatch Time!
Truth -is a pale matte eyeshadow. I found this shade to be a bit dry and chalky.
Undone- Peachy matte shade. This shade has a creamy texture considering it is a matte shade.
DownFall-is a light brown. I am so happy they included this wonderful transition shade to work with all the colorful eyeshadows in the palette.
DTF- is a mauvy brown. Another great transition color.

Dragon- is a beautiful leafy green color.
Freeze-is a mid tone blue color
Heroine -is a beautiful navy blue color.
Broke Down -is a bronze gold color .

Vanity -is a grape color.
Lucky- a gorgeous orangey gold color.
Reign- is a copper brown color.
Boddy Dazzle is a white silver color.

ahh yes my favorite row! :)
Alien- a rosy pink color.
Alchemy -is a magenta pink.
Bondage- is a deep burgundy shade.
Sonic is a pink color with orange undertones. One of my favorite colors in this palette!

Last sin-champagne color
Angel- is a taupe metallic color.
Defy- is a slate grey color.
Revolver- is a gunmetal grey color.

Thoughts

OverAll, I really like the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette. It has 20 colors mostly metallic with a few matte and satin finishes making this palette very versatile. I love how they included matte shades to work as transition colors for the colorful shades. If you do not want such a colorful look you can always pair a neutral shade with some of the colorful shades to tone down a look. I feel that with every palette that urban decay comes out with they get a bit more expensive. This palette costs $60 dollars.  It isn't bad considering it has 20 all new shadows, but I have seen other eye shadows palettes on the market that have the same amount of shadows and also comes with blushes and lip glosses for a cheaper price.

The eyeshadows have great pigmentation, with the exception of the matte shade Truth. The other matte neutral shades in the palette are velvety soft and the colorful shadows have great pigmentation . The eyeshadows lasted about 7 hours on me without the color fading or creasing.

As for the packing, I love it! It is very sleek and the outside packaging is so pretty. I think it is pretty artsy. The palette comes with a huge mirror and it stays up and does not flop down as with previous Urban Decay palettes. The Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette also comes with a decent double ended brush and an Urban Decay zipper pouch, so u can store the palette in or use it for a cosmetic pouch.

If your a color junkie then this palette is perfect for you. The colors are so versatile that you can use this palette for spring, summer, winter and fall. Hurry and grab this great palette before it sells out. The Urban Decay Vice 3 is a limited edition palette.

You can find the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette at Ulta, and Sephora.

I love smokey palettes and they are great colors to use for night time looks  whether you are attending a party, date night or a special event. Ba Star Makeup are geared toward performers, dancers and cheerleaders. You do not not have to be any of these to enjoy their makeup line. Hope you enjoy the review sweeties :)

BA Star Makeup Palette in Midnight Smokey retails at $8.95 and has five eyeshadows in their palette. It is long lasting high quality makeup.

I was also given a BA Star Eye Shadow and Glitter Base along with the palette. This base helps gives the eyeshadows and glitter staying power, sweat resistant, adds metallic quality, and depth to eyeshadows.

Pros:
Great Pigmentation
Long Lasting

Cons:
None

Packaging is nice,sleek and sturdy.

Eye Shadow and glitter base.

The  eyeshadow colors are shimmery with the exception of the black eyeshadow color. The black eyeshadow color has tiny specks of glitter in, but the base color is matte.

Swatches:

These were swatched without a base. The pigmentation is really good even without an eyeshadow base.

These were swatched using the BA Star Eyeshadow and Glitter base. The eyeshadow base made the colors more pigmented and vibrant.

My Thoughts:

Over All, I am quite impressed with the quality of the BA Star Makeup Midnight Smokey Palette. The pigmentation is great and it blends nicely. The BA Star Eyeshadow and Glitter Base helps it last for a very long time. I wore the eyeshadows on top of the base for eight hours and there was no sign of fading or creasing. This palette is ideal for those who are performers, cheerleaders, and dancers, However, anyone can use it . If you want long lasting eyeshadow then the BA Star Makeup Palette in Midnight Smokey will also be perfect for anyone going out to a party, date or special event at night.

Review The Nyx Runway Collection 10 Eyeshadow Palette In Secret World

As salaamu alaykum(peace be upon you) and hello  lovelies! I was looking through my makeup and stumbled upon this palette. When I opened it, this palette screamed Fall inspired eyeshadows. I should have included this palette in my Fall inspired eyeshadows blog post which you can view here. I was happy that I rediscovered Nyx's 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette The Run Way Collection in Secret World. Let's jump into the review.

Nyx's 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette The Run Way Collection in Secret World Retails between $8-$10.(0.49oz). The palette contains 10 eyeshadows that have earth toned colors and come in a mix of finishes from frosty to glitter eyeshadows. The colors in this palette are perfect colors to wear for the Fall season.

Pros:
Pigmented
Affordable
Pigmentation
Blends very well

Cons:
Glitter fall out

Swatches:

I applied these eyeshadows without a base. As you can see the pigmentation is great.

Perfect eyeshadow palette for the Fall .

Over all, I fell in love all over again with  Nyx's 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette The Run Way Collection in Secret World. The pigmentation is insane for the price of the palette. The eyeshadows feel buttery soft and blend very well. My only complaint is that the eyeshadows that contain the glitter has a bit of a fall out, but nothing like a baby wipe or a quick dusting off your cheeks with a highlighter brush can't fix. This palette is a rediscovered gem and I highly recommend this palette. I plan on purchasing other palettes from this line.

Hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful.

You can purchase this product at drugstore.com ,cherryculture.com, and amazon.com.

Thanks for taking time to read my blog. See you in my next blog post lovelies!

Too Faced Pretty Rebel Eyeshadow Palette Review,Photos And Swatches

As salaamu alaykum and hello everyone! It has taken me awhile, but finally I bring to you the Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette Review. When I first saw this Palette it was love at first sight. I love each and every color in this palette. This is also my first Too Faced Cosmetics purchase and I am really happy about this palette. The pigmentation is great. The colors are vibrant, and have a metallic, matte and jewel toned finishes. I am not too crazy when it comes to metallic colors, but this palette changed my mind.

The Too Faced Rebel Palette retails for $46.00( 0.50oz ) .This palette contains 10 shadows(1.5g each) that comes in mostly metallic finishes as well as mattes and jeweled tones finishes.

Pros:
Highly pigmented
Has a magnetic closure
Vibrant colors
Lovely range of colors
Comes with a Step by Step guide on how to achieve different looks.

Cons:
Pricey considering it did not come with a primer
The mirror doesn't hold up and can be a bit annoying when applying eyeshadow. You have to support the mirror or else it will fall flat.

Personally, I love all the colors in this palette. :)

Photos:

I just love the packaging.

I love the chris cross detailing running across the Palette. It gives this palette an edgy look.

Back of the palette.

Love the Gold color.Gold,Black and Pink. Awesome :)

Palette comes with a step by step guide on how to achieve different looks.

The colors are stunning. It seems all the first row of colors have innocent girly names while the bottom colors have edgy and rebellious names. Hence the name Pretty Rebel. Nice Too faced! :)

*sigh* Aren't these colors gorgeous?

Swatch Time!

Up close swatches:

Dainty- is such a beautiful  Beige matte highlight color. I initially thought this color would be chalky but it isn't. It feels velvety smooth. Applies nicely.

Charming- is a dirty matte Brown color.

Girly- is a duo chrome metallic. It has a hint of Brown, Pink, and Gold undertones. Simply beautiful. This is one of my favorites and the most unique color in the palette.

Totally Fetch- Love the name and is from the movie "Mean Girls". I thought that was cute. It is a vibrant Pink color and the only color that really pops out.

Miss Sparkles- Such an appropriate name. It really is sparkly. Such a beautiful black color. I was surprised that the sparkles actually stood on the shadow and didn't fall off. It looks like stars. Good job Too Faced! A tiny bit chalky but the sparkles make up for it lol.

Ringleader- is a Champagne metallic color.

Gangsta- A metallic Bronze Copper color. So pretty.

Instigator- is a vibrant metallic Gold. Such a beautiful Gold color. When you put it over a base it looks as though I used the color wet. Pigmentation is great.

BadAss- A metallic Purple with silver and gold glitter in it. Beautiful color. The glitter stays on the color as well and doesn't fall out. Looove it.

Jailbird- Is a vibrant highly pigmented Silver color. This is the silver of all
Silver eyeshadows lol. The pigmentation is crazy. You don't even need a base when applying this color. It is like a liquid silver.  I am not big fan of Silver eyeshadows, but this one sure is pretty.

Conclusion:

Overall, I think The Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette is amazing and I love every color. The pigmentation is excellent and blends easily. The packaging and the names of the eyeshadows are very creative and gave the palette an edgyiness to it. It would have been nice if the palette came with a mini primer which I think makes the palette a bit pricey since it didn't come with one. What I also didn't like about the palette is that the mirror  has no support. It falls flat so it can make applying makeup a bit annoying. What is the point of having a mirror in the palette is if it doesn't stay up. A minor flaw in the palette. The pros outweigh the cons which makes this palette a must have. If you love metallic eyeshadows then this palette is for you.

Where to buy:

You can find this palette at Ulta, Sephora, and the Too Faced website. If the palette runs out, you can most likely find it on ebay as well.

I hope you enjoyed my review, photos and swatches. Do you own this palette? What are your favorite colors? Would you buy it? Leave a comment below. I always enjoy reading and responding back. ;)

Have a wonderful day lovelies and see you in my next blog post. :)

As Too Faced says, "Own your pretty" :) ox
