Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Berry Parfait Review and Swatches

Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Parfait Berry. This is my first time trying a blush from Too Faced Cosmetics and I have to say their packing is so cute! I am also quite pleased with the pigmentation as well. The Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush retails for $30.00. This is a baked blush that adds the perfect flush to your cheeks. You can use each shade individually or combine the three colors for a custom shade. 

The packaging is cardboard and absolutely cute! Gold and pink packaging is gorgeous!

I can never say no to a pretty pink blush and this one has three pink shades! Love it.

As you can see this blush comes with three different colors that you can use or you can swirl your blush brush in all three colors to create your own shade.

Swatches

The first three are the individually blush color swatches. They are different tones of pink with the last one being more of a berry toned color. The last swatch is what the blush looks like when all three colors are mixed together.

Review/Thoughts

Pigmentation: Has great pigmentation.

Texture: feels smooth and fine but not powdery if that makes sense :)

Longevity: 6-7 hours of wear

Blendability: Blends like a dream.

Pricing: Expensive

Over all, I love love love the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Berry Parfait. It delivers the perfect flush of color to your cheeks and is buildable. It lasted for about 6-7 hours on me before I had to touch up. This baked blush blends beautifully onto the cheeks. The colors have a hint of sparkle in them, so when wearing this you might want to skip out on the highlighter for the cheeks. My only complaint about the blush is the pricing. I think $30 is too much for a blush. When I purchased this blush it was on sale at Ulta for only $15, so I jumped on the opportunity and purchased this blush. I regret not getting the other shades. I think this blush is wonderful. 

If you do not want to shell out $30 on a blush, I recommend milani blushes as great alternatives. I believe all the shades in this blush milani has dupes for. Your welcome! :)

Spring Bloom Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys hope you are all well! Yes! Spring is here and I couldn't be happier. In the makeup world the pastels, rosy pinks and lilacs make their comeback in lipsticks, lip glosses, blushes and eyeshadows. This look is inspired by the beautiful flowers that come to life during the Spring. I love pink flowers and decided to create a look inspired by them.  I added a pop of green to mimic the green leaves and stem of the flowers. Hope you enjoy this look! :)

*Prime the eyelids and lower lash line with eyeshadow base*

1.Apply the color Wisteria onto the lid.

2. Next, take the color Cupcake and add it to the crease. This will act as transition color. Make sure you blend.

3. Take the color Simply Marlena and apply it to the crease and blend.

4. On the inner crease take the color Razzleberry and apply it to the inner crease. Blend.

5.Use the color Vanilla Bean and apply it to the brow bone.

6. Apply bitten to the outter corner and blend it up to the crease midway.

During the process of applying the eyeshadows to your eye, make sure you take the color Wisteria and touch up the lid along the way.

7.Apply black masacra.

8.Use black eyeliner and apply it to the water line.

9.Use a green eyeliner and apply it to the lower lash line. This will act as a base to eyeshadow color you place on top.

10. Take the  color Sea mist and apply on your lower lash line on top of the green eyeliner.

11. Next use the color Shimma Shimma and apply it to the inner tear duct.

*Once I am done again I take the color Wisteria to touch up the lid.*

April Favorites 2014

     Hey Lovelies.! I haven't done a monthly favorites in a long time.I have been so busy lately and I am trying my best to post on a regular basis at least three times a week. Juggling a blog and mommy hood is a lot of work. Being a mom is a priority which is why I have not been blogging much. I am working on a better blogging schedule so that I can blog more often. Any who I am happy to do my April Favorites blog post and share with you guys what I have been using a lot in the month of April. Hope you enjoy :)

Makeup Geek's Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette- Ever since I have received this, I have been using this almost everyday. I love it and and it has such a great variety of colors that you can create many looks from. I will have a review up very soon so keep a look out for it.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Mascara- This is my new favorite mascara. This give you va va voom lashes. This mascara gives great volume to your lashes. Love it.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide- On Eye Liner Pencil in Perversion- This is the blackest eyeliner I own. I love it because it is long lasting and goes on so smoothly.

Bh Cosmetics Concealer and Corrector- I have been using the green color corrector  a lot because I have redness in my cheeks. It is very affordable and gets the job done.

Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles- I love this stuff. If you are suffering from dark circles this helps make them invisible and brighten up your face making you look more awake.

Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3n1 Foundation- This foundation erases everything from scars to blemishes. This foundation has great coverage without making your face look cakey.

Too Faced Tan Without The Twinkle Bronzer- Has been my go to bronzer lately . It may look dark but once you apply is goes light and is buildable which I like. Review here

Wet N Wild Pearlescent Pink Blush- I know some of you have seenthis blush in a few of my posts. I just love this blush. It is a great blush to wear all year round. Give your cheek a nice rosy tint.

Nyx Butter Lipstick in Pops- If you haven't tried these I urge you to get them. I love how buttery they are and they have great pigmentation.

Nyx Butter Gloss in Tiramisu- I am in love with this gloss and of course it is a nude shade. This is a shade that compliments  all makeup looks . I need to buy some more of these. Great affordable lipgloss and it is not sticky.

Radical Skincare Age Defying Exfoliating Pads- I loooove this. This has been a new addition to my skincare regimen and love how it evens my skin tone and makes my skin look more youthful.Review here Scroll down the page and you will find it:)

 Caress Passionate Spell Body Wash- I love this scent. It is a unique scent and has a musk smell but you can still smell the orange in it. I love it. I am bad at describing scents lol.

*Super Late Summer Haul Part 1 *

As salaamu alaykum and hello lovelies! This post has been long overdue. I  purchased all these items in the summer. I never got a chance to do haul blog post. lol My goal was to post this back in July/August and I never made it. Now it's Fall. Better late than never! lol I want to share with you the goodies that I got from Ulta and Walmart. 

Ulta Haul:

This haul consisted mostly of lipsticks. I was really never into lipsticks until recently, which was  around the end of last year. Now I am a lipstick junkie :)

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks.  Left to Right:Berry Couture,Berry Haute,Fuschia Shock,Prime Rose, Mauve It Over and Rose Velvet. 

I love these lipsticks.I wanted to purchase more neutral and more berry shades. I won't go into detail on these lipsticks because I plan on doing a full review.

Left to Right:Lasting Finish by Kate in 06, Revlon Color Burst Lip butter in Fig jam

Fig Jam in such a great color for the Fall. It doesn't apply that dark on your lips. It is more of a  wine color.

Left to Right:Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Fuchia Fever, Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Vivid Rose.  

These are great lipsticks for the summer.I love vibrant and colorful lipsticks.

I have yet to try the pigments. I tried the maybelline color tattoo in Tough as Taupe. I only used it once. I think it is ok. I would have to play with it more to give you a full review.

Walmart Haul:

This haul was mostly for the face.I had to sneak in a lip product or two. :)

These Kate Moss Lipsticks are nice shades for the Summer. I will also being doing a review on the Lasting Finish by Kate review lip sticks, so stay tuned for that :)

As you can see my foundation powder came shattered, and this is the replacement from the first one I received. *advice* Never order makeup from Walmart online* It was thrown in the box with a bunch of brown paper. -_- 

I had purchased this foundation before, but the other foundation was a tad too light for my skin tone, so I purchased this one. I love love love this foundation.

I saw a whole bunch of youtube beauty gurus rave about this and decided to purchase one. I understand why they were raving about it. It is a great concealer.

I purchased this because I saw one of the beauty gurus itsjudystime use it and I thought it was pretty. It's ok. Is is more of a luminizer than a blush to me. Still has a pretty shimmer to it.
