Gold And Rust Makeup Tutorial Using Too faced And Nyx Cosmetics

Hey lovelies! Today I am bringing you a Gold and Rust makeup tutorial  featuring Too Faced cosmetics Pretty Rebel Palette and Nyx Trio Eyeshadow in Rust/Copper and Bronze. I think it is an appropriate look for this time of year. I just love gold eyeshadows especially when it is paired with a colorful eyeshadow. I think it makes the gold color pop even more. Hope you enjoy this tutorial. :)

Tutorial

**Before you start always apply a base or eyelid primer to your lid. This helps the eyeshadow from creasing and keeps the color lasting all day long.**

Step 1.First, I  Applied the gold color called Instigator onto the lid.
Step 2.Then I took the color Rust and applied it to my crease area. Afterwards, I blended the color out.
Step 3. Next, I took the Dark brown color called Charming and applied to the outer v and brought the color midway to my crease area. Blend .
Step 4. I applied the cream colored eyeshadow called Dainty onto my brow bone.Blend.
Step5. I used a black mascara and applied it on my upper lashes.
Step 6. Below my  lower lash line, I used the Rust color and applied it to my lower lash line.
Step 7. For the inner tear duct, I used the silver color called Jailbird.
Step 8. Lastly, I applied black eyeliner pencil onto my water line.

SugarPill Eyeshadow Palettes Review,Photos, and Swatches

Hey lovelies hope everyone is well. :) I am excited to bring you a review on the SugarPill Palettes in Heart Breaker, Sweetheart and Burning Heart. I purchased these during the black friday sale. I waited a long time for a sale like that one and  I quickly purchased these palettes. I believe the palettes were 25 % off each during the black friday sale.Let's jump right into the review.

The Sugarpill Palettes retail for $34.00 dollars each. Each palette contains four highly colorful pigmented eyeshadows. (Net wt. 3.5 grams.)

Pros:
Highly pigmented
Easy to blend
Packaging

Cons:
None

Photos and Swatches:

Acidberry- Hot lime green.
Velocity-Cobalt blue
2am-Grape purple.
Mochi-Mint green.

Dollipop- Fuchsia Pink
Afterparty-  Deep Blue sky color :)
Midori- Grassy green.
Taka- White

Flamepoint-Intense orange.
Butter Cupcake- Canary Yellow (I love love love this color!)
Love +- Red
Poison plum- A plum toned purple.

Conclusion:

I am absolutely in love with all three  of the SugarPill palettes. The pigmentation of these colors are insane. For the swatches, I didn't use any primer or eyeshadow base that is how pigmented these colors are. The texture is smooth and for matte eyeshadows they are not chalky at all. They also blend beautifully together. I have nothing negative to say about these palettes. The packaging is beautiful and thin making is easy to carry with you when you travel. My only regret about this product is that I didn't buy it sooner. I have tried many brands of colorful eyeshadows and this one so far has the best color payoff. My favorite palette out of the three SugarPill Palettes would have to be Heartbreaker. I think these colors are really nice and unique. I really love wearing colorful eyeshadows and I will be putting these palettes to good use. If you love to wear color on your eyelids, then I highly recommend these awesome palettes.

Hope you enjoyed my review on the SugarPill Palettes. See you in my next blog post lovelies!

Urban Decay's Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hello my lovelies! Today I will be reviewing the Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette. I was really excited about this palette when I first heard about it and quickly purchased this beauty once it became available. It sold out in an hour. I know crazy! This palette is completely different than the previous naked palettes. The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is all about rose colored neutrals which is trending right now. Let's get into the review shall we.

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette retails at $52.00. This palette comes with 12 new eyeshadows that are rose toned neutrals which consist of matte, pearl, and metallic eyeshadows.

Pros:
Highly Pigmented
Blends very well
Double ended brush

Cons:
Mirror side flops down

Photos:

The packaging it self is gorgeous and resembles  the colors inside the palette which are rose toned neutrals.

The packaging on the naked 3 palette is similar to the Naked 2 palette, except the naked 3 packaging has a ripple effect. Reminds me of twix candy :)

The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette comes with  a eyeshadow primer potion card and inside it comes with different primer potions in Original,Eden,Sin and Anti Aging that is up to a weeks worth of use.

The mirror is a real mirror and not the toy mirrors that make you look distorted :)

Colors range from rosy neutrals to copper, taupe and brown colors to create a day or night time. look.

Double ended synthetic Crease and Eyeshadow brush.

Swatch Time!

The pigmentation is great even with out a base.

Strange-  Vanilla perfect to highlight the brow bone with and highlight the inner tear ducts..
Dust- Baby pink eyeshadow. I think pigmentation could be better. If the base color was more opaque this would be perfect. I suggest using a white base to bring out the baby pink even more.I also experienced a lot of fall out.
Burnout- Soft champagne pink color.
Limit- is a  pink shade similar to the color burnout except that it is matte.

Buzz-  Rose champagne color with  tiny gold and pink glitter. With this color you have to use a white base to showcase its beautiful pink hue.
Trick- Soft gold color.
Nooner- is one my of favorite colors in this palette. It is a pink mauve color. This color is great to use as a transition color.
Liar -  Gold color with pink undertones.

Factory-  Brown bronze color with pink undertones.
Mugshot- Frost taupe color.
Darkside- Soft gunmetal color with a hint of pink undertones.
Blackheart- Black  color with tiny red glitter. Great to use to transform a daytime look into night time.

Top to bottom:Naked1,Naked2,Naked3
As you can see the Naked 3 palette is very different than the previous naked palettes.

Over All I think , the Urban Decay Named 3 Palette is a must have if you don't already own a palette of rose toned neutral eyeshadows. As always Urban Decay 's eyeshadows are highly pigmented and easy to blend. I love the rosy hues this palette has and is very versatile to use. You can create daytime and night time looks. This palette comes with a double ended synthetic brush is which I think is of great quality. My only complaint is about one eyeshadow in the palette called Dust. When I applied it to my lid, I experienced a lot of fall out and it is not very opaque. You would have to pack on the color on top of a white base to make the pink show more. Also, the mirror flops so when you use the palette you would have to support the mirror. Other than that I am in love with this palette.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick In Bordeaux Review

Hello lovelies! One of the many reason why I love the Fall and Winter months is the dark toned lipsticks ranging from Red to Dark Purple. My favorite shade out of that color range is a nice dark wine colored lipstick. I was looking for iswine colored lipstick and was happy when I found the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Bordeaux.

The Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Bordeaux retails at $4.99.

Pros:
Moisturizing
Color
Affordable
Smell

Cons:
Can settle in the fine lines of your lips.

Photos:

I just love this shade it is perfect to wear this time of year. This lipstick is great to wear with a simple eye makeup look . This shade of lipstick add a sultriness to any makeup look.

What I love about this lipstick is that it applies smoothly and it is moisturizing on the lips. This lipstick is not a matte shade, but has a bit of a shine to it.

Final Thoughts:

Over All, I love this lipstick and the shade. I love how it applies and has decent staying power. After a awhile, you might want to apply lipgloss or a lip balm over it. For the most part this lipstick is more moisturizing than most lipsticks that I have tried. If you are looking for a wine colored lipstick, then I recommend the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick In Bordeaux.

You can find this lipstick at your local Target and drug stores.

Hope you enjoyed this review and see you in my next blog post lovelies.

Rimmel London BB Cream Review

Hello lovelies! I hope all is well you :). Today I will be reviewing the Rimmel London BB Cream. This is my first time purchasing a bb cream. I know it's hard to believe since I am a makeup/beauty junkie. :) I remember when bb creams broke out into the beauty scene about a year or two ago, so I wanted to see what all the rave is about.

Rimmel London BB Cream Retails at $5.99 (Prices vary in Different stores). According to Rimmel, the Rimmel London BB Cream is a 9n1 Skin Perfecting Super Makeup. It is suppose to conceal, moisturize, mattifies, brighten, minimize pores, covers, smooths and protect.

                                                                                 Pros:
                                                                       Thick and not runny
                                                                        SPF 25 Sunscreen
                                                                       Natural looking
                                                                           Light weight
                                                                   Drys to a Matte finish
                                                                          Moisturizing
                                                                             Coverage

                                                                               Cons:
                                                                         Transfers easily
                                                                          Staying Power
A tad dark for my skin complexion

Over All, I really like the Rimmel London BB Cream. After I applied onto my face I put a translucent powder on top to keep the oils away. The Rimmel London BB Cream covers up my redness in my cheeks really well and the staying power is decent, but it doesn't last all day. Also, I think the shade was a tad dark for my skin tone. They don't have much shades to choose from. After wearing Rimmel London BB Cream for three hours, everything still looked good. The redness was still concealed as well as my blemishes. After six hours, is when I could see the redness in my cheeks peek through and I looked a bit shiny in my t zones. What I love about this BB cream is that is does not appear to look cakey on your face which I think it a plus. For my first bb cream, I really like it. I will let you guys know if I change my mind once I purchase other bb creams. For now, this works for me and is convenient to just pop on your face and head right out the door . If you are looking for a more natural looking makeup, I think bb creams are great for that.  They are also great if you do not want to wear heavy foundation. I think Rimmel London BB Cream is light weight on your face and depending on your skin condition, you may or may not need to apply extra amount. I have been using this for the past two weeks and I am pleased with my purchase. If you are looking for an affordable bb cream I recommend the Rimmel London BB Cream.
